Harm’s Apartment
The morning after the coin toss


‘It’s all a dream – I know it. It’s not going to be real. I am going to wake up and it will all be gone. I won’t be a captain. I won’t be going to London. I will not have told Mac that I loved her and asked her to marry me. I am going to wake up and she will be gone.’

Buzz-buzz

Damn alarm. Turning over Harm looked at the clock – 0500. ‘This isn’t right, why am I getting up at 0500 – unless – it’s all real.’ Harm slowly rolls over and discovers a beautiful pair of brown eyes looking at him.

“Good morning … Harm?”

Harm reaches out to Mac and touches her ever so carefully making sure this beautiful vision doesn’t disappear.

“What are you doing?”

“Making sure it's you.”

“Excuse me, you expecting someone else?”

“No… Mac” feeling foolish, he leans over and kisses her “I just needed to make sure I didn’t dream it”

“It’s not a dream, this is real, and I can prove it to you if you like.” And she proceeded to show him how just how real she was and how much she loved him.
